UPCOMING EVENTS & MEETING:

April 1: City of Sebastopol Proclamation
The Transition Sebastopol Energy Group would like to invite you to the Sebastopol City Council Meeting at the Sebastopol Community Center Youth Annex, 425 Morris Street, on Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

We are on the agenda at 6 PM to award the City of Sebastopol a Proclamation of Appreciation. The award acknowledges efforts and progress made to increase use of clean energy, protect the environment and address climate change.

April 12: Apple Blossom Parade
The Transition Sebastopol Energy Group is organizing an electric vehicle contingent in the Apple Blossom Parade.

Look for us in the parade between 10am and noon on April 12th!

About the Transition Sebastopol Energy Group

Mission
To further the mission of Transition Sebastopol in the area of energy.  The mission of Transition Sebastopol is to create a positive vision of the future by cultivating community resilience in response to the potential challenges of resource depletion, climate change, and economic instability. 

Activities
This group hosts workshops, sponsors speaking and educational events, and at times engages in public policy advocacy.

Meetings
This group has a planning meeting once a month at SolarWorks in Sebastopol, 400 Morris Street #C. Check for dates and times. We also host special workshops & public events as scheduled

History

The Energy Group was established in April 2010 and in our first year of activity we hosted several workshops, co-sponsored several events, and developed positions on energy policy. We meet on a regular basis and welcome new members. Check the calendar on this website for future meetings and events.
