A big turn out for the Community Mapping event on March 11th! The Community Center was abuzz with the collective wisdom and inspiration of the group, and we were able to capture many wonderful ideas, opportunities, needs and visions while celebrating what we already have. AND we captured all this on the wall maps ~ a great start, with more to be done! See photos of the maps created that day!

A great audience assembled at the Community Center on March 4th for an evening with Richard Heinberg and "The Upside of the Downside." The presentation and powerpoint stimulated engaged post-presentation conversation and folks stayed on late to explore ideas and opportunities. FYI - You can order Richard's books here.

We  had a wonderful movie night on Feb. 25th at the French Garden Restaurant watching The Power of Community, How Cuba Survived Peak Oil with an animated crowd of more than 75 participants and over half staying for the discussion afterwards. Stay tuned for more movie nights!

We were delighted with the vibrant community attendance at Jennifer Gray's presentation at Aubergine on January 15th!
Over 165 people attended this first Transition Sebastopol event and more than 100 people signed up on our list to be involved in this collaborative process!
